Lately I find myself trying to get back in to cooking more. Not just cooking to prepare a meal and eat it, but the enjoyment of the cooking process.
I’ve gone back and forth numerous times trying to follow a diet which never sticks so I’m aiming to change that mind frame that it’s not a diet but rather a lifestyle change.
For the month of August I was attempting to do Keto and IF (Intermittent Fasting) but the Keto portion just wasn’t working for me, no matter how successful it was when I first done it 2 years ago. So I decided to stray away from it and try to build a better relationship with food.
I enjoy cooking, and baking. I enjoy following a recipe and seeing how it turns out. Most of all, I enjoy creating dishes of what I find in my cupboards and fridge or just picking up some ingredients at the store and making a creation. This I want to get back to. So, each month my aim is to document the dishes I have cooked, whether it was from a recipe follow along or something I whipped up freelance style. And will be writing a post about those dishes each month to share.
